Dr Anjula Thomas has been the Medical Director of Parkway Laboratories for the past 33 years. Her clinical expertise is in surgical pathology with special interest in respiratory and breast pathology; and cytology.
Dr Thomas obtained her MBBS in Kolkata, India and post graduate training in Singapore General Hospital, Department of Pathology and FRCPA in 1974. She is a member of the Ministry of Health (MOH) Specialist Training Committee (Pathology – Histology Subcommittee), MOH Subcommittee on Quality Assurance & Training for Laboratories, the Audit Team of Cervical Screen Singapore, and the Singapore Cancer Advisory Committee. She is also a part-time lecturer in the Department of Pathology at the National University of Singapore, a Technical Assessor/Expert for the Singapore Association Council-Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme, Councillor in the Association of Pathologists, Singapore, and the Honorary Treasurer of the Singapore Society of Cytology.
