Vaginal swab or First-Catch urine
(1) Urine sample - Up to 10% fewer infections are detected in female urine samples in comparison with vaginal and endocervical swabs.
Patient must not have urinated during the previous 2 hours.
Collect 10-50mL of urine including the first part of the stream into a sterile urine container
(2) Swab - Urethral, Endocervical or Vaginal specimens collected in dry swab (without transport medium)
