The Standard40 Tissue NGS covers all actionable targets for lung (9 guideline-recommended targets) and colon (NRAS, KRAS, BRAF, ERBB2, NTRK). This aids in identifying multiple disease alterations for which FDA/HSA-approved and CDL-covered treatments are available, with support for identifying available clinical trials.

Lucence is pleased to share an enhanced physician experience from upgraded tissue testing workflow for Standard40 NGS Lung, Colon and Solid tumors test from 15 April.

Improvements are: 

 1. Increased accuracy and less false negatives. Detection limit has improved from 5% VAF to 0.9% VAF (lower is more sensitive). This increased the pathogenic variant detection in tissue by 21.8%  for validation in 125 patients (data on file).

 2. Quicker turnaround from faster processing with improved acceptance tissue criteria, and reduced rejections

  • Reduced need for tumor cellularity (From 30% to 20%)
  • Reduced sample input requirement (From 33 ng DNA to 10 ng) 
  • Non-coated uncharged slides (previously positively charged slides)
  • 5-10 µM thickness (previously 2-5 µM)
